4th Doses for severly immunosuppressed can now be booked through the National Booking System (online or dialling 119). These patients must be able to provide at their appointment a referral letter from their specialist or GP confirming their eligibility and the optimal timing of their booster.

Boosters for severely immunosuppressed aged 12 and above will be sent out a national invitation letter with more information on how to book.

Children aged 5-11 who are in a clinical high risk group or who live with someone who is immunosuppressed are now eligible for a first dose of the covid vaccine in line with advice set out by the JCVI. As a parent or guardian you will be contacted by your local NHS via a phone call or text and offered an appointment for your child.
